Like, he’s living the life people dream about, but then turns around and raps about attacking cops with a bat. It’s giving “High School Musical meets GTA,” and I don’t know how to feel
.And the tea doesn’t stop there. Mabu used to be all sweet and Justin Bieber-like in his early music, but now he’s full-on “thug life” in his drill rap videos. There’s even one where he pretends to rob a jewelry store and gets into a fake shootout. I mean, the drama is iconic, but also like, what is happening?! Even people from his school are side-eyeing him because they think the whole gangsta act is a little much
.Even though he doesn’t have “street cred,” people respect his talent, and he’s been working with other rappers like Sha EK, who says Mabu is ready to hustle but obviously comes from a VERY different background. It’s wild because one minute he’s at charity events for cancer research, and the next he’s rapping about turning girls into “wide receivers” (yikes, Mabu 😬)
